The Week Of…

One day I had this “Aha!”moment of inspiration that we all sometimes have and I begin to write about how it will be my life if I decided to intentionally think and act based on simple and fun weekly challenges than could influence my way of living, improving the quality of my life and as a bonus, positively impacting the people and the environment that surround me.

I want to be honest with you, it wasn’t easy at the beginning but I had nothing to lose or to prove to anyone because the “week of..” challenge was my own secret mission idea and it can become your own weekly secret mission as well.

After all the thinking and the writing, I defined three keys to be successful on this journey.

Define the topic:

Sometimes we just defend who we are and how we act but in reality there is not real argument to defend the indefensible or in other words if there is anything in my life that is not helping me to move forward, I have to identify what it is and put a name to it.

Time and thinking:

People say that in order to create/modify a habit we have to practice it for at least twenty one days (or your money back) to see the results; so I decided to be intentional on what I wanted to improve one week at the time. I found that changing the target every week gave me the freedom to experience, not feel bored and more important prove to my self that if I was able to do it once, I could do it again.

One more thing, we have to think/meditate on our weekly challenges to keep the focus and in order to help you with this, please share your experiences during the week by following the posts and leaving a reply/comment for all of us feel motivated and encouraged to continue move forward.

Take action: 

I love the comfort of my bed and every morning I had to decide to leave this delicious environment and take a shower that I don’t want to take because it will remove the numbness of me but I take that decision every morning and I can see the reward and how being awake and smelling well has an impact on all what surrounds me during the day.
